Payment methods

All the payment methods are detailed in the product description. You can choose one of them when you place your order. We accept:the following payment methods :

  • Credit card

  • Visa

  • MasterCard

  • Bank transfer (transfer costs are at your charge)

  • Paypal

  • International transfer (transfer costs are at your charge)

If you choose to pay with a credit card, you will be asking to fill out the information forms of your card when you will place your order. For safety reasons, our website does not save any confidential datas linked to your bank account. These informations are coded by the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and are never shown on the Web. The payment is directly performed with the bank. Tradergames.fr can never access to these personal datas, and does not keep any of them on its servers. That is why you will have to fill them out again each time you place an order.

You can use your reward points or vouchers in order to buy a product. Please email us if you want to pay by any method non-specified above.

In some cases, you can order from our website while letting us known that you would rather pay and pick up directly at our local store in Paris. If so, just confirm your order by Bank Transfer from the website, and send us an email saying that you will pay and pick up the item(s) at our shop. We will book your item(s) for 7 days, then put it up for sale if you do not come and claim it.

Our website does not accept these payment methods:

  • cheque

  • cash

  • bank or postal mandate (IPMO / Western Union...)

Tradergames.fr can still verify credit card payments or refuse orders from areas with high credit card fraud rates. Instructions shall be sent after checkout.

Cancel/modify my order

Contact us by email or phone before the order is shipped, for once it is, you won't be able to modify or cancel it anymore.

Availability

Products' availability is detailed in their description. You can be notified of the restocking by email. For every product you would not find on our website, we kindly invite you to check the Requests section on our homepage.

Language and currency

You can change the currency and the language of the website just by clicking on the upper-right buttons of the homepage. Available languages at the moment are French, English and Spanish. You can select either Euros, US Dollars or Japanese Yen as currency.

We ship worldwide, except for the countries where the political statement does not allows it.

How do we ship?

- France Letter : for packages smaller than 3cm thickness and with lighter than 3kg, this method offers a tracking number, but no insurance if the package is lost. Delivery schedules usually vary from 2 to 4 days. Packages are dispatched directly at your home, or to your housekeeper.

- France Colissimo : for every kind of package. This method offers a tracking number, but no insurance if the package is lost. You can pay extra fees to obtain insurances R1, R2 or R3. Delivery schedules are quite fast but remain flexible. The package is usually delivered within 48h.

Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will be notified by email of the tracking number. You can also find the tracking in your personnal account section.

What are the shipping costs and the delivery schedules for my country?

Shipping costs vary from your localisation or country, and from the shipping method, chosen. They are all calculated automatically by our site. You can check them in your shopping cart, when you proceed to checkout.

What shall I do if my product has not been delivered or is damaged?

Tradergames.fr would not be responsible for any consequences or damages caused during the delivery, or if the package is lost. For any delivery issue, please refer to the carrying agency, or to your shipping insurance.

Customs

If you are located outside the European Union, you may have to pay import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borned by you. As customs policies vary from one country to another, we have no control over them and cannot predict what the charges may be. When you order from Tradergames.fr, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Please contact your local customs office or check their website for more information.

Your privacy is of utmost importance for Tradergames.fr, and we make sure that your personal datas are well protected. However, we would like our international customers to be aware that cross-border shipments are sometimes subject to be opened and inspected by customs authorities, and that we would not be held accountable for this.

Though, we may provide certain order, shipment and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.

PRE-ORDERS

How do I pre-order?

Please just click on the Pre-order section on our homepage to see the products' avalibility in there. We will then guide you through the different steps of pre-ordering. You can also check the pre-order page when you do a research from categories.

If you want to pre-order a game that is not yet on the website, please do tell us, we will create the article for you.

We cannot guarantee preorders made few days before the official release of a game.

Cancellation period

We will not allow any cancellation for pre-ordered products. We have to calculate our orders depending on the number of preorders, no cancellation will therefore be received.

SPECIAL REQUEST AND WITHDRAWAL

Special Request and Reservations

You may not find the item you were looking for on our website. If so, you can send us an email or contact us by phone, we will check its availability from our local store and warehouse. However, if we do not have it in stock, we can make a special request from our personal suppliers, and try to satisfy your demand in the best possible way.

In some cases, you can order from our website while letting us known that you would rather pay directly at our local store in Paris, and withdraw your product back there. If so, just confirm your order by Bank Transfer on the website, and send us an email saying that you would withdraw the product at our shop. We will book your item for 7 days, then put it up for sale if you do not come and claim it.

Japanese orders

Tradergames.fr offers you to order any japanese goods (video games, consoles, but also clothing, goodies, toys, high tech...), as far as it is legal. We can also make a special demand from our Japanese suppliers that do not ship outside Japan. In any case, just send us an email or contact us by phone, so we can make a request. We will do our best to fulfill it.

How can I get my reservation?

As soon as your reservation is available, we will add it to the website, and create a private access so that only you will be able to buy it. We can also keep it for you at our local store for a while, if you would rather withdraw it directly. In any case, we will notify you when the product is available.

BUY-BACKS

What do we buy back ?

We buy lots of products back : recent and retro video games, consoles of any generation, accessories... within the limits of our personnal stocks. Also, consider that the product condition is significant for the final buy-back price. We will then assure you the fairest price for your items. You can send us an email or visit us at our local store, we would be glad to make you an estimation.

How can I sell my items ?

We offer two buy-back methods :

  • At our local store : just visit our shop, located at 4, Boulevard Voltaire, Paris 75011 (France). The underground station is Oberkampf or République (lines 5 and 9). We only buy back from adults with an ID card. Our sellers will be glad to estimate your products within the best time.

  • Online : if you cannot come to Paris, please just send us an email with the best pictures you have of the item to get an estimation.

If you would like to sell us your items by mail, please just follow these instructions :

  • First, you will have to send us an email which details as much as possible the items you are selling : condition, quantity, missing part if there is any... Do not forget to add pictures if you can. This is a great help to estimate properly.

  • As soon as we get your email, we make an estimation and state on the price (cash, or voucher).

  • If you agree, you can send us your products. The postage costs are at your charge.

  • As soon as we get the package, we can then pay you by cheque, bank transfer, Paypal, or credit your account with your voucher that can be used on the website to pay whatever you want.

  • Once again, we will only deal with adults who can provide an ID document by email.

If the products do not match the description you have made in your email, we can still modify the final buy-back price. Moreover, if they turn out to be defective when we get them, we shall then send you back your items, at your charge. So please be very careful before you send us anything.

How do my products are bought back ?

When you are selling by mail, we can pay you with cheque, transfer bank, Paypal or voucher. At our local store, the payment is also made with cash. Keep in mind that the voucher value is more significant than the cash one (final buy-back amount).

INVOICE

How to get an invoice ?

Each product gets an invoice when it is delivered. You can also print it from your account (in the Purchase History section).

Where can I see my purchase history ?

You can see it from your personal account : just click on « My account » then « Puchase History ».

LOYALTY PROGRAM

What are reward points ?

You get reward points anytime you purchase an item on our website. For each order you place, you get an amount of points equivalent to 2% of the item value. When you get enough points, you can then obtain a voucher that you can use on our website only. To do so, you have to validate an order on our site : you will get points as soon as the package has been delivered. You can transmute your points directly from your account : a special section is dedicated to reward points back there.

How do I know how many points an item is worthing ?

You just have to refer to the product description.

How do I make use of my reward points ?

You can transmute your reward points into a voucher directly from the section « Reward Points » of your account. You can find there a promotional code that you will be able to use during the checkout process. The website vouchers are not accepted at our local store.

Are my reward points linked to my Trader card ?

Reward points can only be used on the website. They are not linked to the card you can get at our shop.

How long will my reward points last ?

They are effective for a period of 365 days that you can check on your account.

Tradergames.fr is running by the SARL MANGA MULTIMEDIA, which is registered at the CNIL (National Commission on Informatics and Liberty). This organism guarantees the privacy of your personal datas. Besides, our website can do distance selling (VAD) by phone, thanks to our contract with the Crédit Agricole Bank.

No bank datas are saved on our website. They are coded by the Secure Socket Layer, and can never be seen on the Internet by anyone including us, excepting you. Only your authentification datas (such as user name and password) are kept by the website cookies.

Tradergames.fr is committed to handle your informations (name, address...) only to its sellers and carriers, and no one else. If jurisdiction requires it, we will have to reveal them only within the terms of the Law.

How do I create an account ?

You will just have to check the upper-left corner of our homepage, where you will find « My account ». We will then lead you through the different steps.

How do I modify my personal datas ?

Your personal datas (name, password, address, email...) can be modified at anytime from your account. You just have to check the personal informations section, available in your account section.

I have lost my password

When you are logging in, click on « Forgot password ». It will be sent on your email page. You can also modify your password at anytime in your personal account section.

What is a Wishlist ? How do I create it ?

A Wishlist is a personal list where you can save all the researches you might buy. It is different from the shopping cart. To create it, you will just have to log in and then check the Wishlist section, on the upper-left side of the homepage. Then just follow the steps.

WARRANTY & EXCHANGES

Tradergames.fr policy

Each and every one of our consoles and accessories are tested when they are bought back. Tradergames.fr guarantees that they are functional and authentic.

Consoles are guaranteed for one month, from the day they are sold.

In any case of dysfunctionnment, for a game or an accessory, please contact us without further delays. Be careful that if you are late doing so, the warranty will be over.

Warranty entitles you to exchange a faulty product, or to get an equivalent voucher that you can use on our website.

Warranty is only relevant when the game or the console have been used properly.

Returns

Returns are considered on a case-by-case basis, and the postage costs are, in theory, at the charge of the customer.

Besides, delivery issues are not under the responsibility of Tradergames.fr.
